Bosshard & Partner is looking with Mandate 3515for a Java Application Developer (f/m)
Project environment
The candidate builds web-based applications supporting the Application Security Framework at a global Swiss Bank in a team that is highly inclined towards Test Driven Development and follows Development Principles from popular Agile Development Methodologies like Scrum and XP (Extreme Programming).
Tasks
• Development of web-based applications built on following components:
o Backend – The backend or the persistence layer of the system is Oracle (v11) RDBMS.
o Application server – Tomcat (v7) is used as the application server.
o Frontend – Frontend is built using JSP and Bank Widgets based upon jQuery and Knockout JavaScript Frameworks.
Requirements
Essential skills:
• Java7
• RDBMS (Oracle) and SQL
• Hibernate
• JavaScript
• Tomcat, JSP, Spring
• Unix (Solaris, basic Shell Scripting)
• Eclipse or IntelliJ development environment skill
Additional skills:
• WebDriver, JBehave
• H2 DB
• Apache configuration skills are nice to have
• IT security skills are nice to have
• Maven, SVN, Jenkins skills are nice to have
• PL/SQL skills are nice to have
Soft skills
• English spoken and written is a must. German nice to have.
