Product Development Engineer - Medical Devices
For one of our client, an international company specialized in medical devices based in the Solothurn area, we are looking for a Product Development Engineer with fluent English and German skills.
It is a contracting position starting in April until end of September 2016.
In this position the Product Development Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance of existing implants and instruments as well as ensure the maintenance of existing Technical File and Design History File documentation. In this challenging project, you will write Standard Evaluation EN ISO 14630:2012/EN ISO 14602:2011 and also write Design and Clinical Risk Management. At least, you as a Product Development Engineer within a medical devices environment will have a close cooperation with internal departments and international authorities such as to ensure a conscientious compliance with Medical Device Regulations (EU MDD, US FDA, JP PAL etc.)
You bring the main qualifications for the role:
- A higher degree in Engineering
- Previous work experience in a regulated industry and/or in the medical devices area
- Proven experience in writing documentation/Technical File and Design History File documentation
- Experience with Medical Device Regulations (EU MDD, US FDA, JP PAL etc.)
- Creative problem-solver, self-motivated candidate with strong leadership ability
- Team player with strong initiative
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (German will be highly preferred)
