For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Basel, Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:
SAP Solution Architect - SAP PP/PI and MM
Background information of the position: The Senior SAP Solution Architect, ALPIN 2.0 joins a team of talented, creative, and motivated Systems Analysts, Solution Architects, Project and People Managers, who work on the ALPIN 2.0 project within Pharma Informatics ERP Demand-to-Supply organization (there are 7-8 people the candidate will work closely with).
Project background:
The ALPIN 2.0 project is about to redefine the operating model related to Artworks (printed packaging materials - ie patient information leaflet that can be found in the drug package). Managing high number of artwork changes of Drug Products through the supply chain is a complex process which shall be simplified by the project. It is planned to be achieved via process simplification and interlinked best-in-class informatics infrastructure to make the systems, involved in the processes, more user-friendly and to enable an increased throughput of artworks changes. The project is currently in the Scoping phase and is about to ramp up rapidly in the Informatics side.
The position reports functionally to the IT Project Manager.
Tasks:
Gather, analyze and document business and functional requirements. Translate business needs into applicable functional specification.
Collaborate with other teams - ie with SAP APO Solution Architects - to validate these requirements and find out the impact to interfaced systems
Requirements:
- 5 - 9 years of SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management)
- Detailed knowledge of supply chain processes required
- Expert in SAP PP/PI and MM modules
- Experience as a consultant, functional expert, or similar role highly desirable
- Experience conducting large-scale requirements and design sessions with business process owners
- Must be a self-starter, results-oriented and have a track record of timely, high-quality deliverable
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other validated environment is a must
- Speaking and writing fluently in English is a must
- Experience with SAP APO is nice to have
