Beschreibung

We are currently looking for a Test environment Coordinator for a Windows 10 Migration in a global pharmaceutical company based in Basel area, this is a long term contract with possibility to be extended.

The Test environment Coordinator is responsible for handling all testing activities with the assigned business partner for the W10-based applications inside the Win10+ project.

Tasks:

  • Administration & Management of the Win 10+ test environment within the duration of the project, focusing on the provisioning of Virtual Windows 10 test clients for application testing
  • Liaison with the Portfolio and Release Manager for Windows client requirements and problems
  • Help ensure the virtual environment Clients are properly assigned to the respective application owners in order to support their testing efforts. Work closely with Application Portfolio Management and Regional Support Centre
  • Contribute to the communications regarding testing and remediation
  • Ensure that the test machines are up to date and the provisioning fits to the project procedure and timelines
  • Quality Assurance of the builds that will be provided by the Client Engineering team (responsible for technical approval of Client Release updates inside the test environment)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' Experience in test application within migration/deployment projects (eg rollout projects), ideally in the app readiness area
  • Good technical understanding of Windows and ESXi vSphere infrastructures (Minimum of two projects - ca. 3 years' experience)
  • Win10 technical knowledge.
  • Good Technical background supporting a global rollout of an OS (ca. 3 years' experience)
  • Good Microsoft Active Directory knowledge including GPO handling in an AD infrastructure
  • Good OS knowledge, able to analyse issues in relation to IP, DNS etc.
  • Independent, organized, used to work without direct supervision
  • Structured way of working with a strong focus on teamwork and problem solving
  • Experience in virtual, international team settings
  • Very good communication skills in English
  • Business-fluid in English, both verbally and in writing

Nice to Haves

  • Background in application testing, ideally test management esp. for migration readiness
  • ITIL Foundation certification or relevant experience in Service Management
  • Web development knowledge, strong windows 7 or 10 skills
  • German, Spanish, French and/or Polish
