For a 9 months project at our client site in Zurich, an international bank, we are looking for an experienced

Portfolio Relationship Manager w/Change Management background (3532)

The successful candidate will be working in Project Portfolio Controlling, a Service Management stream within Group Technology. The PPC stream is accountable for delivering consistent change portfolio planning, reporting and portfolio assessment. This role will require you to work closely with senior managers within Group Technology, the divisional Governance committees, Finance, Group Strategic Change Management and the program and portfolio management communities.

Your Qualifications:

  • Proven, strong client management skills particularly at a senior level
  • Experience in working within a large project portfolio (about 100 streams)
  • Excellent presentation and analytical skills, attention to detail/data quality, ability to convert "data" to actionable management information
  • Very advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; some Access and/or SharePoint knowledge preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, complex initiatives and conflicting priorities
  • Ability to lead and handle change
  • Ability to lead, influence, and work in global teams
  • Comfort with technical skills and exposure to new systems
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to define and refine reporting offerings, heavy stakeholder management at all levels
  • Effectively managing the pipeline of reporting requirements ensuring appropriate review, prioritization and delivery
  • Ensure appropriate control checks and quality assessment of information produced is completed ahead of publication of information
  • Assist in management of teams to enable resources to deliver required activities to agreed timelines

Preferred Skills include:

  • Broad understanding of IT functions, processes and organizations
  • Familiarity with major functions of Finance organization
  • Experience in IT transformation or IT strategy work; or post-merger integration of IT organizations
  • Experience in working in global, enterprise IT management environment
  • Familiarity with PMO functions and workings
  • Strong commercial skills

Your tasks:

  • Supply high quality, timely and standard materials, including reporting and analysis of program status and financial data to meet planned requirements of Group Technology and key Investment Governance stakeholders
  • Provide oversight, support and control of the GT Change Portfolio and highlight performance and quality assessment and issues
  • Ensure that internal and external requirements and requests for portfolio information are addressed and met to a high standard
  • Appraise the quality of deliverables such as project plans, progress reports and Program Management Framework artefacts
  • Work with the GT COO streams and other Investment Governance stakeholders to ensure internal portfolio management controls are in place
  • Familiarity with PMO reporting and tools, and an ability to create, standard, repeatable reporting models that accurately reflect the status of the change portfolio
