For our banking client based in Zurich we are currently looking for a Software/Application Engineer with Requirements Engineering skills in Tax
Location: Zurich
Start date: March 2016
Duration: 12 months

Role overview
- Production support
- Supervision of production support processes
- Responsible for the incident-, change-, release-, and problem management processes
- Defect analysing
- Write technical IT specifications and requirements for 3rd party software vendor
- GAP specification within existing documents
- End user- and second level support
- develop database queries and ad-hoc reports
- Engineering and implementation
- Member of projects
- Track 3rd party vendor on deliverables
- Analyze and specify banking and tax business requirements and technical requirements
- Parameterization and customization of the application OBS-Tax
- Contribute to change- and release management processes
- System test and roll out of new functionality
- Documentation (operation manual, etc)
Mandatory education/experience
- university degree or similar education preferably in information technology or information management
- good technical knowledge about Linux
- good recent knowhow in PL/I development with DB2
- good requirement engineering skills
- coding experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL and/or MS-SQL Server T-SQL
- experienced in maintaining 3rd party application
- banking knowhow, especially about financial instruments (Bonds, Funds, FX, TOFF,..)
Beneficial experience
- Knowhow about Windows administration and .NET 4.x
- Test engineering/test management knowhow
- sound know how in transaction banking processes
- Knowledge about withholding taxing processes
Languages
Very good German and English (w/s)
