For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Project Manager - Next Generation Voice/Telco (3574)
For this role, we are looking for a Swiss based candidate with comprehensive experience in the telecommunications area and know-how in either Sprint, Avaya, Juniper or Link.
Your qualifications for the role:
- Deliver program objectives
- Minimum 8 years in Project Management roles including significant leadership experience
- Proven experience working within high performing Network Operations teams
- Possesses strong knowledge of networking technologies and service management capabilities
- Ability to manage tight timelines and meet deadlines to support the business
- Possess a degree in computer technology and networking or equivalent
- Ability to work unsupervised and to work in virtual teams
- Possess good time management and interpersonal skills
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with key stakeholders across a broad Matrix managed global organization
- Demonstrates attention to detail
- The ability to liaise with vendors and internal departments
- Experience in the Financial Services industry or other similarly complex, regulated, distributed environment
- PMP certification preferred
- Technical knowledge of network infrastructure
- Familiar with enterprise network design principles
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of a program/project, which includes project planning, execution, timing, quality, cost and early identification of potential issues
- Manage a team of experienced Project Managers, either directly or as part of a Matrix organization, ensuring efficient use of resources?
- Identify and manage senior stakeholders and clients, evaluate their interests and establish effective communication channels ensuring effective stakeholder management and engagement
