Senior C# Developer
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry. We are looking for a Senior C# Services Oriented Application Developer with banking experience who can start as soon as possible.
Role overview
- The main function of the role is to be part of an integration and API team who develop, modify and enhance dozens of existing connections to multiple different departments. This role has a broad exposure to a wide variety of bank systems, in order to expose them in modern, forward looking services architecture.
Responsibility:
Provide task-analysis and estimates, prototypes and proof-of-concepts as part of the analysis process
- Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
- Assist with production support of existing application, log analysis, tracking and problem resolution.
- Analyse information to determine, recommend, and plan specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.
Must skills
- Over 5 years of experience with C#, .Net, Web-based technologies.
- Strong knowledge and experience of SOA principles, OO design, information analysis.
- Extensive banking industry experience (ideally Investment Banking or Private Banking)
- Server Side experience at an Enterprise level
- Agile experience (ideally scaled Agile)
- Multi-threading experience
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques and principals involved in production of drawings and models.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.
