PL/1/DB2 Software Engineer/Requirements Engineer
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a PL/1/DB2 Software Engineer/Requirements Engineer. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for a German and English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:
Production support
- Monitoring of production support processes
- Responsible for the incident-, change-, release- and problem management processes
- Problem analysing
- Second level and end user support
Engineering and implementation
- Track 3rd party vendor on deliverables
- Analyse banking and tax business requirements and technical requirements
- Customization of the application OBS-Tax
- System test and roll out
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- Proven knowledge about Linux
- 5 years of experience in PL/1 development with DB2
- 5years of experience in requirement engineering
- Banking industry experience: ideally in tax environments
- Deep financial instruments knowhow (Bonds, Funds, FX, TOFF)
- Coding experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL and/or MS-SQL Server T-SQL
- Knowhow about Windows administration and .NET 4.x
- Test engineering/management experience
- German and English speaker
