Our client is a Swiss financial institute, based in Zürich. In order to reinforce their team, Swisslinx is seeking a Desktop Developer (VBA/Oracle)
In order to be considered for this position, we are looking to find the best candidates with the following profile:
Minimum 5 years software development experience with deep VBA (Visual Basic For Applications), Microsoft Access and Oracle SQL skills - which must be proven through previous work engagements and qualifications
Developing GUI's in Microsoft Access
Oracle SQL experience as you will be defining the required tables and views and generating the SQL to create them. Experience of Oracle PL/SQL also an advantage for development of required stored procedures.
Experience of the TOAD application beneficial
Software design, build and test experience
Preferably a computer science or related degree
Independent, attentive to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines under high pressure, with the ability to multitask due to monitoring and addressing multiple issues concurrently.
Fluent in English (German an advantage)
