We are looking for a Data Warehousing Architect- ETL - DWH
Industry: Leading Structured Investment Service Provider
6 months contract position
Start data - ASAP
Location: Zurich
Our contacts within the company take into account our applications as a priority.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist and support our internal team of database and application developers on their way of building a data-warehouse:
- in architectural and design questions
- in the choice of technologies and tooling
- in the Datamodelling
- Quality assurance and the collection and maintenance of metadata
- The expected outcome is to enable the internal team to build from front to back an initial data-mart that can serve as a blue-print for other data-marts that will be added later
Your Profile
- Must have worked in at least 2 different DWH projects in one of the following roles:
- Architect
- ETL designer
- Has worked with at least 2 different technology stacks (DB, ETL tooling)
- Has preferably worked with 2 different DWH core design methods (dimensional/relational/data vault)
- Practical experience in designing ETL solutions of data-warehouse projects
- Practical experience with Datamodelling tools
- Preferably experience with maintenance of metadata and documentation
