Linux Developer wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your tasks:
- Developing and maintaining Sybase database queries and stored procedures as well as data feeds to downstream systems and processing of feeds from upstream systems
- Developing and maintaining batch jobs written in Linux and Perl Shell Scripts
- Providing 3rd level support to end users and 1st/2nd level support team
- Maintenance and documentation of database schema
- Documenting batch jobs and processes
- Developing and maintaining of reports and Crystal reporting templates
Your experience/skills:
- Minimum 5 years experience of Linux development
- Minimum 3 years of Sybase or SQL Server experience
- Previous experience of developing (agile) IT projects within the financial sector
- Sybase performance and tuning experience
- Knowledge of Securities Lending, Repo and Collateral trading as well as prior experience with JIRA and Perl Scripting is an asset
- Fluent English both written and spoken
