For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a Splunk Test Manager:

DURATION: 21 weeks
LOCATION: Zürich
The Splunk Test Manager will work with the quality team, developing test plans according to the requirements of releases for Splunk.
He/she is tasked to manage the Test creation, Test Data preparations, and Test executions by a team in locally and offshore.
He/she is responsible for the creation, execution and documentation of the tests necessary to ensure that the Splunk application and its technical environments meet the requirements (technical, functional and non-functional).
- Ensure adherence to the client testing standards, processes and methodologies to ensure efforts are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet client/customer expectations.
- Responsible for diving deep and understanding technical details, scope, business usage, and operational usage for assembling the estimates, project plans and team work assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
- Responsible for tracking key milestones and adjusting plans to meet the needs of customers.
- Develops the project test strategy, supporting business case, quality expectations, and project testing plans.
- Coordinates communication within the project team of impacts to scope, estimates, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
- Communicates the project test strategy and provides signoff of the test readiness of the project release.
- Assists Project Manager(s) in partnering with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities to achieve the goals of the Splunk solution defined on client site.
- Reviewing test coverage for test data, requirements, and test cases.
- Drives improvements within the project to ensure effective and efficient testing.
As a Senior test engineer you plan, organize and control all test activities and are responsible for achieving the defined test goals and implementing the testing, as well as overseeing the associated communication and training activities.
The senior Test Engineer has significant solution domain expertise in one or more areas and is responsible for managing test projects as well as mentoring and delegating work to junior Test Engineers.
