A major pharmaceutical business is searching for Procurement Specialist - Software Category to support the procurement of software and related services.
Procurement Specialist Primary responsibilities include:
1. Preparing and leading tenders, including requirements gathering, supplier selection and contract development
2. Reviewing and redlining license & maintenance agreements
3. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to optimize the procurement of software
4. Ensuring compliance to relevant procurement policies and processes
Procurement Specialist Preferred Skills/Qualifications
1. 5+ years of experience procurement, with at least 3+ years in the software category
2. Experience with reading/redlining software contracts
3. Knowledge of common licensing models and associated contractual structures
4. Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across functions and seniority
5. CIPS certification, or similar, preferred
