Requirements Engineer (RE) for the Lifecycle & Enhancement Project
Role overview:
*supports business in its duties through IT support and document it to provide a common understanding between the client who use the application and the IT people who built, test and maintain it now and in the future
*understand business drivers and what needs to be delivered from a business point of view
*obtain understanding of and commitment to requirements
*develop, manage, estimate dimensions and consolidate information on the requirements of the project's customers, products and product components according to the requirements engineering process
*identify synergies, redundancies and inconsistencies between the requirements and the project's plans, work products, business strategy and the overall context in applicational and technical architecture
Key Deliverables:
*elicit and elaborate requirements
*model and Document requirements understandable for clients and subsequence roles within IT
*ensure that specification of the user's needs is accurate, complete and unambiguous
*maintain traceability between requirements and between requirements and requests
*identify impact of changes on the existing requirements
*provide inputs to a first test strategy for the application
*provide input to the Project Manager for prioritizing requirements
*supports testing phase by giving input, review test strategy and test cases
Mandatory education/experience:
*university degree or similar education preferably in information technology or information management
*requirements engineering experiences within financial institutions of > 6 years
*solid theoretical understanding and practical experience of use case modelling (UML) in IT projects
*knowledge of securities, single accounts, bookkeeping
*well experienced in stakeholder involvement and management
Beneficial experience:
*IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering or a similar certificate
*experience in using tools like JIRA, Enterprise Architect 9.x
*background in software development processes/life cycle
*understanding of financial instruments
*project management experience
*well banking-knowhow about tax, namely about Final Withholding Tax, European Withholding Tax or US Withholding Tax
