Software Engineer/Application Engineer (3rd Party Application OBS-Tax) wanted for an international bank in Zurich.
Your tasks:
- Supervising of production support processes
- Being responsible and contributing for the incident-, change-, release-, problem management processes
- Developing database queries, ad-hoc reports and creating GAP specification within existing documents
- Analyzing defects, understanding customer business requirements and specifying technical requirements
- Writing technical IT specifications and requirements for 3rd party software vendor as well as tracking 3rd party vendor on deliverables
- End user- and second level support
- Parameterising and customising of the application OBS-Tax
- System test and roll out of new functionality
Your experience/skills:
- University degree or similar education preferably in information technology or information management
- Good technical knowledge about Linux and Windows
- Coding experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL and/or MS-SQL Server T-SQL
- Know-how in maintaining 3rd party application and in leading/coordinating small or medium sized IT-teams
- Expertise in the banking sector within financial instruments (Bonds, Funds, FX, TOFF etc.)
- Knowledge in .NET 4.x, transaction banking processes and taxing processes is an advantage
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken
