On behalf of my client, a leading private bank in Zurich, Switzerland, I am urgently seeking a senior C# developer to join them. You will be a part of the Front End development team building out the functionalities of trading and analytics platform.
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
Work independently and as part of a small team in an agile environment, under the guidance of the tech lead
Develop components on a Microsoft 3-tier architecture system, with focus on the UI - Front End
Enhance existing functionalities and design/implement new features following coding best practices
Take part in extending the testing framework and maintaining/improving unit tests
Understand the business specifications, converting requirements into technical solutions
Support the Production Environment and the end-users
The essential technical skills desired by my client are:
Several years of experience designing and implementing UI (focusing on usability and user interaction)
Extensive experience with WPF/MVVM/Prism (candidates with extensive Silverlight knowledge would also be considered)
Infragistics controls (candidates with great experience with other third party controls would also be considered)
Strong skills in OOP, core .NET/C# 4.0 or above, LINQ, design patterns, multi-threading, especially applied to UI
Extensive experience with UI unit testing (eg NUnit) and mocking frameworks
The desired technical skills include:
Persistence Layer (preferably Entity Framework)
DB design, SQL, including SQL Server 2008 or above
Inversion of Control frameworks (eg Castle, Spring, )
Interactive data visualization products focused on Business Intelligence such as Tableau
Performance Optimization/Troubleshooting
Previous experience in the Finance/Insurance industries (ideally within Trading/Portfolio Management)
