Are you an experienced JAVA Solution Architect or Senior JAVA developer searching for a contract job in Ticino? Do you have strong JEE skills including knowledge of EJBs, JSF and messaging? Are you looking for a JAVA Solution Architect contract job that has a lot of responsibility and a very good chance of extension? If so, this may well be the perfect job for you.
You will be responsible for the design and development of the application architecture for a suite of JAVA applications that are globally used for calculating credit risk for Private Banking loans. The applications are very high profile within the bank and developed with a JEE architecture consisting of JSF on the UI, JMS for messaging and EJBs. As the Solution Architect, you will analyse the requirements to create a suitable architecture and also direct developers within the team to follow best practice also ensure their code is reviewed to meet the high standards of the bank.
Alongside the technical responsibilities of the Solution Architect job, you will also take responsibility for project planning and project management. The team are Agile, so the expectation is an observation of Agile principles towards both project management and development.
This is an initial 12 month contract, paying a rate of 600 CHF per day. The expectation is that the program of work will take at least 24 months.
