Edelway is a Pan-European IT Consultancy. One of our best clients, a global, pharmaceutical company based in Basel is currently looking for experienced Scientific Business Analyst - Programmer.
THE ROLE
We are looking for experienced Business Analyst/Java Programmer who contributes to a global team that is accelerating biological science.
YOUR PROFILE
*At least two years of experience developing and supporting Java software
*Technical knowledge of: Java, Spring, Oracle
*A background in natural sciences (Bachelor, Masters or PhD in biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, chemistry, physics, or pharmacy) and/or Computer Science
NICE TO HAVE
*Maven, Tomcat, Hibernate, Jira, FishEye, Confluence, SVN, CID (Continuous Integration)
*Fundamental principles for web application development
*Java/JavaScript intercommunication and JavaScript API development
*JavaScript MVVM frameworks (knockout, angular)
*Formal experience as a Business Analyst
*Wet lab experience in a molecular biology lab
*German speaker
