Beschreibung

For a client of ours, a major financial services organisation with global headquarters in Zurich, Swisslinx is searching for an Assistant PMO Lead for a long term contract position in Zurich.

The main tasks and activities of the role will be as follows:

  • Responsible for the overall support of the project/functional lead in all day-to-day project and programme management activities;

  • Responsible for managing relations inside and outside the project/functional area including the development of good working relationships with other PMOs (including information and best practice sharing) within the programme;

  • Responsible for project logistics including on- and off-boarding of project members and travel organization;

  • Responsible for the adherence of the internal and external project resources with the programme time tracking process;

  • Support Project Lead in decision making process (eg by analysing issues and options and compiling decision memos and respective presentations);

  • Support project management/functional leads in compiling regular and ad hoc project documentation (eg project presentations, meeting minutes);

  • Responsible for ensuring consistent application of the chosen programme management framework and relevant standards contained therein (eg methodology, guidelines, processes, templates .);

  • Support the project lead in choosing and applying the appropriate project enablers (tools, techniques, templates) and standards for the project artefacts (eg Project Definition Document, Business Requirements Document) throughout the project life cycle;

  • Contribute to the continuous development of the chosen programme management framework by proactively raising improvement suggestions to PMO;

  • Responsible for facilitating and running the scope management and change control process, in particular: responsible for initiating the process, facilitating the analysis and impact analysis, ensuring logs are up-to-date and closing the process;

  • Responsible for facilitating and running the risk and issue management process within the projects, in particular: identify, analyse and document risks, define mitigating actions and contingencies, monitor, control and close risks;

  • Responsible for communicating and escalating critical risks and issues to the respective bodies and support resolution and closure process.

We are looking for someone with the following profile:

  • At least 8-10 years of proven experience starting in a PMO position then moving into a leading senior position

  • Experience with the above responsibilities

  • Extensive experience with financial transformation programmes, preferably on a global scale

  • Extensive supplier and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluent written and spoken skills in English

  • Preferably a consulting background

  • Possession of project management certifications is a plus
