System Specialist Oracle Solaris Server
Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced and enthusiastic System Specialist Oracle Solaris Server, to join one of their clients, a large multinational technology company. For this role based in Bern, we are seeking for a fluent German speaker, French intermediate (at least B1) is also required.
Tasks
- Operation of the Oracle Solaris server systems in terms of availability, quality, data security and ensuring SLAs
- Develop system technical solutions
- Execution of tuning and performance measures
- Maintenance of Server System with respect to monitoring and data security
- Migrations and release upgrades
- Creating and maintaining the system documentation
- On-call service support and maintenance window if required
Experience
- Experience with ITIL V3
- Experience in monitoring complex IT infrastructures with Nagios and the centralized management of virtual platforms for Solaris 10 with VDCF and cfengine
- Experience as a system specialist in Oracle Solaris Operating
- Experience as a system specialist in the operation and administration of Oracle Solaris Servers in larger companies
- Experience as a system specialist in large-scale projects (
- Experience in the design and integration of solutions and the design of infrastructure services in the environment Oracle Solaris Server

Qualifications
- Degree in computer science or related, at college or university or technical school
- (including advanced training certificate)
- Certification in Oracle Solaris 11 System Administration
The right candidate MUST be German speaker and French fluent at least on a B1 level
