Senior Software Engineer (Java and/or C++, C#)with some Test experience, Jenkins, IaaS & PaaS cloud, TOSCA
Location: Adliswil, Switzerland.
Contract Work until December chf per day
Experience programming in Java and/or C++, C# and Scripting with some (around 1 years experience) hands on test automation frameworks such as Selenium or TOSCA
Our client ensures the architectural fit and the end-to-end quality of all in-house developed solutions, IT infrastructure and the technical integration of 3rd party solutions.
We are looking for a sharp, experienced software engineer with strong problem-solving skills, a solid software development foundation with an affinity to infrastructure.
Being a talented, detail, oriented and enthusiastic tester who is passionate about quality and is enthusiastic about the new cutting edge technology offered to our customers.
Further being responsible for system testing of our clients business applications and some of our infrastructure.
Main tasks/activities:
Delivering high quality software solutions and quality assurance services to the IT's projects; you will perform software tests for internal clients together with our testing partners
Provide testing consultancy to development teams in regards of testing and software quality aspects
To design, plan, execute and automate tests for software across a variety of n-tier architectures and cutting-edge technologies.
To deploy Continuous Deliver/DevOps principles into the Infrastructure field
To build up testing for the IaaS and PaaS cloud
To build up an active testing community
To contribute to the future testing strategy
To enable Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery by using a holistic approach for requirement validations over the application life cycle for applications and infrastructure
Position requirements
A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
One or more years of SDET experience (Software Developement and Testing - probably find the acronym on google)
Strong organizational and problem solving skills with great attention to detail, including the ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize the results
Team oriented and able to self organize
Experiences in leading/contributing to a testing community
Experiences in playing an educational/coaching role to other teams/colleagues Experiences in cloud environment
Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools
Experience programming in Java and/or C++, C# and Scripting Hands on test automation frameworks such as Selenium or TOSCA
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and in particular with the product Jenkins
Experience with test data management, data quality assessment and data reconciliation
Excellent command of English
Strong client service attitude & management skills
