For a global bank based here in Zürich we are searching for twoWebSphere MQ System Engineers (3425 & 3426)
The current infrastructure is:
- WMQ V7.0.x, V7.5
- WMB V7.0.x
The Job:
You will be responsible for the daily housekeeping tasks for the whole WebSphere MQ/WebSphere MessageBroker infrastructure. This includes:
- UNIX (Solaris, Linux) and Mainframe
- Make sure that all monitoring events get addressed
- Keep dead.letter queues clean
- Go behind expired certificates
- Keep monitoring up to date
- Take necessary actions on recurrent issues
We are searching for candidates with:
- Deep skill level of WebSphere MQ V7.x/V8.x + MessageBroker V7.x/V9.x
- Familiar with MQ clustering and mulitiinstance set-up
- Used to working on Linux + Solaris
- Nice to have: MQ Mainframe know-how. You will need to know how to look for log files on the Mainframe
- Java knowledge a plus
- Feels comfortable working in a large global environment
