Programmer: Developer, Business Analyst, Java, Spring, Oracle
We are looking to hire a Programmer/Business Analyst to contribute to a global team who are accelerating biological science. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an industry leading global company at their office in Switzerland for 12months +. Apply for immediate consideration.
The Ideal candidate has:
A background in natural sciences (Bachelor, Masters or PhD in biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, chemistry, physics, or pharmacy) and/or Computer Science
At least two years of experience developing and supporting Java software
Good written, visual, oral, and online communication skills (English a must, German a plus)
Strong self-motivation and ability to learn new skills as needed
Technical knowledge:
Required: Java, Spring, Oracle,
Nice to have: Maven, Tomcat, Hibernate, Jira, FishEye, Confluence, SVN, CID (Continuous Integration)
Any of the following qualifications would be a plus:
Fundamental principles for web application development
Java/Javascript intercommunication and Javascript API development
Javascript MVVM frameworks (knockout, angular)
Formal experience as a Business Analyst
Wet lab experience in a molecular biology lab
