Edelway is a leading Swiss IT services company.
On behalf of our global client based in Geneva/Lausanne area we are actively looking for a SAP BPC Project Manager to join them on a long term basis.
This is a long term contract opportunity.
Start: ASAP
The role:
SAP BPC Project Manager: (70%)
Act as a project leader:
*Be the key referent and primary point of contact between the Finance/IT teams and the external consultants: ensure the project timetable is strictly followed and the project milestones are achieved
*Communicate regularly with all project stakeholders
Project preparation & development:
*Participate in the preparation of a clear & detailed timetable with pre-defined tasks between consultants (taking into consideration Finance Team constraints)
*Work on the detailed scope of the project (by tasks performed either by Reporting team and/or Project Manager and/or Consultants) Identify opportunities of improvement in the current database, make proposals on best practises to implement it if need be
*Prepare the transfer of all BCP reports: work on the inventory list and prepare their migration (ensure best practises are used in the reports for an efficient migration process)
*Lead each development phase to ensure milestones are achieved: take special attention to the UAT phase, being the pre-testing user before moving to further tests phase
*Work closely with IT manager on the migration of the SAP BPC server and the transfer of the internal dashboard tool into the new environment (IIS 7.5, ASPX using C#, MDX)
Project documentation and Trainings:
*Ensure all needed documentation on the project is well prepared, detailed enough
*With external consultants' collaboration, organize trainings for admin users/end-users on the new version of the software
*Develop user-guides for admin users & end-users if need-be, and ensure all current IT policies are up-to-date
SAP BPC System Administrator: (30%)
*Manage the administration console: update of dimensions, business rules, work menu, whenever need be, to ensure exhaustive transfer into the new database during the migration
*Manage security users as per IT policies: creation/deletion of users, manage passwords
*Primary contact with SAP support help desk
b) Other extended workload:
*Participate in the monthly closing preparation (upload of exchange rates, ownership, optimization process ), in collaboration with the reporting team
*Participate in specific Finance projects linked to SAP BPC developments such as forecast project, update on second P&L hierarchy, automation of interfaces for data transfer from group accounting system to SAP-BPC
Your profile:
*Strong skills & knowledge of SAP BPC (versions 7.5 and 10 on MS)
*Previous experience of migration to version 10
*Strong Excel skills with the ability to develop advanced SAP BPC reports
*Ideally skills in MDX and ASPX using C# (internal finance dashboard tool)
*Fluent in English (ideally French speaker)
