Perl System Engineer
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English and German speaking Perl System Engineer. For this contract position based in Zurich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Design, Deploy, and Support Automated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) jobs for a variety of Data Source types within the existing framework.
- Support and maintain the scheduled jobs and data Import definitions and transform maps
- Design, monitoring and Implementation documents
- Assist and mentor the support teams in problem resolution
- Drive for constant "correct shift"
You must possess:
- Extensive Perl experience required
- Hands on ETL experience
- JavaScript fluency preferred
- Demonstrated experience with databases
- Strong knowledge of Windows server environment
