Test Manager/Business Analyst (trading)

On behalf of our client, a leading global company, we are looking for a Test Manager who has previous trading environment experience and with business analysis skills. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for a German and English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

Test manager in the agile development process with the following responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain formal testing process and end user training
  • Plan and manage the business user acceptance testing and end user trainings
  • Keep training and functionality documentation up to date
  • Coordinate resolution of issues raised by the end users
  • Work with the development team to implement automated test cases
  • Develop MIS report for development, testing and support

Junior business analyst skills in the agile development with the following responsibilities:

  • Working independently and as part of a small team in an agile environment, under the guidance of the product owner and the senior business analyst
  • Work with a number of business stakeholders to prepare detailed user stories for the development team and to describe the related changes in existing business processes
  • Develop interactive mock-ups and syndicate requirements amongst the relevant business stakeholders
  • Work with the development team and the product owner to oversee the implementation of the defined user stories
  • Coordinate process changes on the business side with the relevant business stakeholders

Skills:

  • Over 5 years of experience with creating test cases
  • Experience and solid knowledge of an automated testing environment
  • Good experience working in Agile environment
  • Previous experience in the Finance/Insurance industries (ideally within Trading/Portfolio Management)
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skill
  • Good client communication skills/able to independently liaise with end users
  • Flexible on moving targets/changing requirements
  • Good oral/written communication, positive and proactive team attitude
  • Good spoken and written English

Advantageous skills

  • Experience conducting business analysis in an agile environment (ie writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, etc.)
  • Previous experience with interactive mock-up tools and agile tools (JIRA)
  • German
