For a long term project at our banking client in Zurich we are looking for an experienced
Senior Business Analyst - Trading w/MUREX (3350)
In this position you will work on a project which includes developing functional requirements of the IRD's and FX/PM options business (Investment Banking) on a middle-Back Office related Murex platform.
Required Skills:
- Degree in Information Technology and/or Business Administration or equivalent
- Several years of experience in a similar role within a large financial institution in a trading/Back Office environment
- Good system knowledge of Murex 3.1, preferably Back Office and accounting modules
- Pro-active attitude with excellent communication skills in English, German would be an advantage
- Ideally solid knowledge of treasury or FX Back Office processing, focusing on OTC derivatives for FX and PM products as well as for IRD's
- Computer literacy and an interest in technical innovations (knowledge of XML (FPML) and SQL is a plus)
- A business-oriented approach and hands-on mentality for excellent results
Your Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business and technical team members in order to determine the solutions to business needs
- A role to develop functional specifications, presentations and documents according to requirements from business
- Responsibility to analyse, design, test and support the implementation of technical solutions that address the changing functional requirements of the IRD's and FX/PM options business on a middle-Back Office related Murex platform
- The possibility to work in a dynamic environment within investment banking middle- and back- office
- Analysis, incident resolution and consulting tasks
- Involvement in 3rd level support for production issues
- Provide guidance and support to other business analysts and collaborate with work stream lead to achieve project delivery
