Senior .NET/C# GUI Developer (Banking)
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English and German speaking Senior .NET/C# GUI Developer. The successful candidate will assist to build out the functionalities of its trading and analytics IT platform. For this contract position based in Zurich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Developing components on a Microsoft 3-tier architecture system, with focus on the UI - Front End
- Enhancing existing functionalities and designing/implementing new features
- Taking part in extending the testing framework and maintaining/improving unit tests
- Understanding the business specifications, converting requirements into technical solutions
- Supporting the Production Environment and the end-users
You must possess:
- 5 years of experience designing and implementing UI with focus on usability and user interaction
- Extensive experience with WPF/MVVM/Prism
- Extensive Silverlight knowledge
- Experience with other third party controls
- Strong skills in OOP, core .NET/C# 4.0 or above, LINQ, design patterns, multi-threading,
- Extensive experience with UI unit testing and mocking frameworks
- Experience with WCF
- Experience with database design and SQL
