Database Infrastructure Architect, Basel, Contract
Our global client based in Basel is looking for a Database Infrastructure Architect to join the Architecture and Database Management team.
You will be key to creating a reference architecture for infrastructure environments, Oracle, SQL Server and MariaDB. You will support the development and maintenance of the Infrastructure Roadmap. Create architecture deliverables, including Database selection guidelines, platform feature comparisons, architecture diagrams, templates, and white papers.
Describe Solution patterns across Infrastructure environment including Disaster Recovery, Vitalisation, Performance and Scalability, Optimization, Security, Encryption, Backup/Restore, Data Integrity, Platform Mapping and Data Compression
Ideal candidates will have:
*DBA background with knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, Oracle RMAN, RAC
*Database life cycle management
*Infrastructure Architecture experience, with knowledge of virtualisation
*Knowledge of infrastructure environments including Disaster Recovery, Virtualisation, Performance and Scalability, Optimization, Security, Encryption, Backup/Restore, Data Integrity, Platform Mapping and Data Compression
