E-Channels Application Manager

Our client is an international bank located in Zurich.

We are looking for a contractor/consultant/temporary worker with excellent understanding of e-channels in a banking environment.

Tasks

  • As an IT analyst of the eChannels team you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the services used by clients, both businesses and individuals to manage their portfolio and accounts
  • Subject matter expert of end-to-end processes acting as a point of escalation for both business and 2nd level support
  • Support the development team evolving system architecture and design within the eChannels context
  • Proposing continuous improvements
  • Analysis of incidents and defects and proactive trackin
  • Maintenance activities such as life cycle measures, configuration and reporting
  • Service monitoring, availability control, handling of incidents and problem tickets service level communication

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role within banking & financial services
  • Good understanding of IT integration and web technologies
  • Experience in a business or user support function
  • Good understanding of the following technologies: UNIX, bash, SQL, ITIL, Jira, Confluence or Wiki, Sharepoint, plus development background like Java, .net, Javascript, SOAP and restful services
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken)

The assignment duration is planned for 12 months with a possible extension.

Start-date is ASAP.
