Junior 2nd level Support Engineer, DWH, Banking, English (Contract, Zurich)
For one of our clients, a worldwide renowned Bank based in Zürich, Swisslinx is currently looking for a 2nd Level Supporter (DWH).
We can offer:

Complex troubleshooting in a critical Data Warehouse production environment in an international and multicultural environment

Being responsible for major incidents and escalations
-
Providing continuous process improvement suggestions
-
Maintaining and documenting Standard Operating Procedures
-
Creation and running ad hoc reports
-
Opportunity to take over special tasks within the team
-
On call and weekend work required
Your profile:
-
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
-
Excellent analytical skills
-
Advanced troubleshooting experience
-
Must be able to adapt and create non-standard approaches to problem solving
-
Solid knowledge in Unix/Linux, SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle)
-
Experience working in the DWH environment
-
Good knowledge of ETL processes (Informatica Power Center) and Scheduler (Control-M)
-
Good understanding in role/access rights concepts
-
Excel, Visual Basic, Access is a Plus
-
IT Customer Service/Problem Management Resolution experience
-
Fluent English skills
This is a 6 months contract initially, with a possibility of extension. Start date: ideally ASAP.
