Looking for a Senior Project Manager to join Global IT Consultancy Company on a contract basis.
You will join an employee driven Company in Basel, Switzerland, that put you at the centre of their value, whose main interests are trust and transparency. A big company that achieved extraordinary results in terms of Profit, Revenue and Market Capitalization. Managing programs and projects. Ensuring performance in terms of costs quality and deadlines.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading, planning, managing and directing project teams according to the Project Management standards. You will work with Service Managers, KAM's and IM project managers as required to define requirements and cost benefit analysis, to manage/control the project scope, and ensure that the project delivered meets the customer's needs. You will manage project budget, in coordination with line management and ensure project timely and qualitative delivery on budget to achieve the project's objectives and benefits. You will prepare and maintain project plans (activities, schedules), and provide regular project status reports. You will also be responsible for tracking project progress with respect to schedule, budget, and demonstrated project benefits. You will recognize out of line situations and take measures to bring project back on track you will resolve scope, schedule, resource and financial conflicts and drive and deliver project outcomes and transition them to operations. You will manage stakeholders' expectations and project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) and communicate with all stakeholders, management and project team as defined in the project communication plan. You will also manage external suppliers and contractors as required and will also organize and supervise the appropriate involvement of project resources.
Who is the ideal candidate for this Project Manager job?
To be the ideal candidate for this Project Manager role you will have years of experience as a successful Information Technology Project Manager using structured project management processes, deep understanding of various SDLCs (Waterfall, Agile, iterative, prototyping, etc.). You will have demonstrated competency planning and tracking project schedules with clearly-defined critical paths and will conduct proactive critical path & risk management for the project and take appropriate mitigation strategies. You will also have proven ability to obtain results in a global, Matrix environment and track record of delivering projects on time and on budget. As a Project Manager you will have the ability to see the interrelationship of a project across "the big picture" and understand its dependency on other projects in the program as required and excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation abilities, with exceptional listening, problem solving, negotiation, and facilitation skills. We need demonstrated success communicating across a variety of audiences, including business people and technologists (both up and down the organization) and expertise in Business Analysis. A plus will be an experience in Pharmaceutical Industry.
And what's next?
You will join a friendly team in Basel on a part time basis (50%) with salary up to 16 CHF per hour.
The project will start on and will finish by the end of the year. There is the possibility of an extension into 2016 and from January you can change it into full time.
