For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for aQuality Tester with banking experience (3327)
In this position you are responsible for planning and overseeing all aspects of testing.
Your skills:
- Experience in consulting and formulating enterprise level test data strategy
- Ability to define standard templates for test data strategy, -definition, -requirements and related metrics as well as daily, weekly and monthly reports
- In-depth knowledge and experience in Data Warehouse (DWH) technology, Informatica ETL testing, Informatica Powercenter mappings and workflow monitor, source files, landing layer, data mart, reports, SQL and Unix scripting from testing perspective
- At least 5 years of Swiss Private Banking experience with in-depth knowledge in Client-, Financial Instruments-, Account-, Employee-, Organizational Units and Relationship Master Data as well as Management Accounting and Business Intelligence (BI)
- Experience with Testing for Business Intelligence Applications based on reporting tools like Business Objects, Hyperion
- Previous experience in implementing CMMI Level 3 process across data warehouse projects in large Banks
- Experience in with onshore-offshore model with team members located in different parts of the world
- Ability to listing out application gaps and providing inputs for enhancements by preparing Functional and Software Requirement specification
- Leading and mentoring Senior BI & DWH Test Leads and test professionals to meet business, projects and team objectives
- Know-how of Functional, Integration, System, Sanity, Smoke, Regression, User Acceptance, Stress and Usability Testing
- Strong analytical as well as an eye for details
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Effective planning and organizational skills as well as the ability to make decisions and be accountable for decisions and actions
- Copes well under pressure and with uncertainty
Your responsibilities:
- Review all testing documents
- Test scheduling
- Provide test advice
- Review and determine testing resources
- Identify and provide/arrange necessary training to test groups
- Overseeing the development of the relevant documents for testing
- Ensure adherence to agreed Test Strategy, Plan and project schedules
- Control & direct the activities of Testing resources, both internal and external
- Analyse and report on test results
- Provide sign off on test outcomes prior to go-live
