For our banking client in Zurich we are looking for a Unix admin - Shell Scripting consultant
Start date: Asap
Duration: 6 months minimum
Location: Zurich
The OTC treasury team requires a Team member who will be part of the Test Environment Management team
Must have skills:
- Unix Administration skills, Linux, Solaris
- Develop and understand Shell Scripts, PERL scripts to maintain the non-production environment
- Test environment experience
- Languages: English, German is not mandatory but a plus
- Interpersonal skills that keeps him/her cool at stressful scenarios
Good to have:
- Develop and understand CTRL+M scheduling/tasks, JAP knowledge
- Develop and understand Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Scripting, IBM MQ, SVN, Java
- Experience with Murex Infrastructure activities, running EOD Batches, DB Archiving
- Understanding with Infrastructure Procurement process, gathering data for reporting system slowness/identify low performing process
- Co-ordination with Oracle DBA's, Unix Admins on issues encountered during day-to-day activities and short-term/long-term improvements
- Good in communication, interpersonal skills and very good team player
- Experienced in Financial Industry is a plus
- Knowledge of ITIL is a plus
