Java Software Developer/Engineer (Banking)
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English and German speaking Java Software Developer/Engineer. The successful candidate will design and implement new functionality. For this contract position based in Luzern, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Development of Java business logic components with EJB, JPA, JMS
- Development of Java User Interfaces with JSF
- Prepare and execute unit and system tests
- Technical documentation of all delivered artifacts
- Analysis and fixing of defects and test environment issues
- Create solution proposals and estimations
You must possess:
- 6 years + hands-on experience in development of web applications with Java
- Good knowledge of EJB 3.x, JSF 2.x, JMS, JPA, JUnit, SQL, XML, Web-Services
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Experience with agile and test driven development
- Experience with Eclipse IDE, SVN
- Experience with Oracle DB, Linux/Unix Shell, Corba, Maven, Ant, Weblogic
- Excellent analytical and communication skills in German and English
- Experience with agile methodologies
