Developer/Monitoring Specialist (Avaloq)
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for an experienced Developer and Monitoring Specialist in the Avaloq technology. For this position (both permanent and LT contracting positions available) based in the heart of Zürich, our client is looking for a German and English speaking candidate experienced in the banking world. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Support a high performing and collaborative set of customer groups and be a key contributor to the monitoring improvement project
- Because we are a small team, the ability to communicate technical ideas effectively, in oral and written forms, and solve complex problems in a team environment will also be considered.
- Co-ordination for specific monitoring related topics
- Incident management and 3rd party application maintenance and support
- Preparation of training documentation and execution of user trainings
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- Experience in Business Analyst and/or Project Management
- Avaloq parametrisation and development (+ certification highly desired)
- Ability to configure and manage multi-OS environments (RedHat, Solaris, MS Server R2)
- Familiar with monitoring tools (Nagios, Check_MK) and understanding of conceptual implementation of monitoring solutions would be a big plus
- Competent in Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English
