Project Manager, SCRUM, Wealth Management
On behalf of our client, one of the most established financial institutions worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record in managing dispersed Agile teams for a long term project to develop and enhance a tool for portfolio advisory and management.
This is a rolling six month contract in Zurich starting ASAP.
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills:
- Excellent university degree (preferably in Economics/Management, Science, Information Technology) or equivalent
- 5-10 years professional experience as a project manager working on projects within the management consulting or financial services industry
- Established track record in tackling complex issues & executing initiatives in the context of a large organization
- Experience in Object Oriented environment with J2EE and multitier architecture
- Project experience working with and coordinating offshore/globally dispersed teams
- Excellent knowhow in project management and agile methods (SCRUM/Kanban) as well as RUP and/or CMMI
- Very good leadership skills to drive implementation of a defined set of features through all phases (eg requirements engineering, development, testing, go life, organizational rollout).
- Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills
- Constructive approach to your work and to a feedback culture combined with the drive to continually develop yourself and your working environment
- Fluent English language skills
Working on a long term project to develop and enhance a tool for portfolio advisory and management you will work in a core project team of over 100 IT specialists you will be resposnibdle for the following:
- Management of the entire delivery cycle of the project (time, cost and quality)
- Close collaboration and dependency management with offshore development team, business partners and internal clients
- Liaise with key stakeholders across the bank to determine priorities, manage dependencies and to realize synergies
- Tracking of project effort, milestones, financials (budget and actuals)
- Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues
- Plan and optimize utilization of project resources
- Ensure adherence to project management standards
- Contribute best practices, lessons learnt and measurement data from project to organization's process asset library
- Implement and/or reliably execute request management process
