For one of our clients in the financial sector we are looking for a Java Quantitative developer to join their team in Zurich.
Responsibilities:
- Working on a market-leading advisory solution for Private Banking
- Daily use of Core Java, Hibernate
Requirements:
- University degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Applied Sciences
- Excellent computer programming skills, particularly in core Java/J2SE, Hibernate, JUnit/BDD
- Knowledge of Matlab, web programming (HTTP, REST, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ZK, d3) or any RDBMS are a plus
- Knowledge of any core banking system is a plus
- Language skills: Fluent English, German would be a plus
- Solid understanding of financial instruments and their characteristics
- Effective project management and time management skills
