For our client, an IT Service provider in Zurich, we are looking for aData Center Architect - Server [x86/ Midrange/ Mainframe] (3290)
The successful candidate needs to have following skills to perform the role effectively:
Experience translating Business Requirements into Technical Requirements
Experience developing High Level Design to meet Customer requirements
Ensure Traceability of requirements through design, implementation and testing phases of the project
Experience in DC Migration program migrating IT Assets (Servers, Storage, Network etc) from one data centre to another. End to End experience with a DC migration is must.
Understanding on various aspects of technologies with deep knowledge in at least one Technology area such:
Servers ( Wintel)
Consolidation and Virtualization
Storage and backup
Network (LAN and WAN)
Disaster Recovery/BCP
Database (Oracle/SQL/DB2 etc)
Tools
Detail and high level designing experience across multiple technologies
Excellent ability to handle multiple vendors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings to senior business management level
Ability to understand and design the business resilience and data center strategies for customers across technology
As the Data Centre Transformation Architect you will be responsible for Data Centre migration planning and migration.
