For a long-term project at our banking client based in Zurich we look for an experiencedSenior Solution Engineer with JAVA developing skills (3260)
to take over the lead of the client tax engineers for a Business Transaction Store (BTS) application as well as some solution architecture. For this challenging position the ideal candidate meets the following qualifications/competencies:
- Graduate degree
- Base experiences in project management
- Has at least 10 years of Java development experience
- Profound skills how to implement Java/JEE applications on the JAP (online & batch)
- Mandatory: expert/practitioner in Java / JEE [EJB, MDB, JMS, JPA, etc.]
- Nice to have: MQ, XML, XSD, Oracle RDBMS, EclispeLink, Apache frameworks, HTML5, AngularJS, etc.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
- Expert in solution architecture and design
As Lead Application Developer you are responsible for the following tasks:
- Takes over the lead of the Client Tax Engineers
- Responsible for the full lifecycle of technology infrastructure system of the BTS Applications
- In partnership with the vendors, the Solution Engineer is responsible for engineering and customizing solutions, so that they integrate with the overall technical architecture
- Further responsiblilty includes planning for technology infrastructure deployment and planning of the retirement and transition of technologies at the end of their lifecycle
- Solution Engineer serves as internal subject matter experts, consultants and troubleshooters, with responsibility for ensuring stake-holder satisfaction with infrastructure technology
- Delivers all necessary design and specification documents (e.g. System Context Diagram, System Application Document, Program Specification, Change Code Description etc.) for the offshore partner for any requirements for BTS
- Implementation of central and critical application components
