For an initial six months contract at our banking client based in Lucerne we are looking for an experienced

German Speaking IT Project Manager - Client Tax Reporting (3231)

In this role you are responsible for driving the realization of regulatory requests which impact the Client Tax Reporting (CTR) applications. In particular, it is necessary to coordinate the activities in the area of scoping, requirements engineering, implementation, testing, deployment and organizational rollout.

We look for candidates with:
-Sound background in project management of software delivery Projects
-Strong capabilities in methodologies and tools to perform all project management as well as project management office activities
-Several years of experience in a similar position and excellent knowledge in Project Management and agile methods (SCRUM/Kanban) as well as RUP and/or CMMI
-Good leadership skills to drive implementation of a defined set of features through all phases (e.g. requirements engineering, development, testing, go life, organizational rollout)
-Practical experience in state-of-the-art software architecture and good understanding of banking products and experience in reporting or tax are a plus
-Banking know how is of advantage, in particular in the area of private banking
-Good MS-Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
-Very good communication and presentation skills in English (both written and spoken), German would be a plus
-PMP certification or similar is an asset

You will be responsible for the following tasks:
-Manage the change requests and integrate impacts into plans
-Tracking of project effort, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies
-Ensure adherence to project management standards
-Plan for execution of all engineering and non-engineering activities within the project by using previous best practices from organization's process asset library
-Identify and manage issues, ownership and resolutions
-Plan and optimize utilization of allocated project resources
-Manage dependencies with other teams and stakeholders
-Run project status meetings, monitor project progress on regular basis and communicate the project status report to stakeholders
-Manage project quality and ensure quality and consistency of all deliverables and ensure appropriate sign off of deliverables
-Manage financials (budget and actuals)
-Supporting stakeholder as well as general logistical, process, toolset and administrative support concerning PMO activities
-Please note that this position is based in Lucerne and that the suitable candidate must be willing to travel to Zurich once or twice a week.
