For a six month project at our client, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for aGerman speaking Senior Business Project Manager "Client Engagement Project" (3070)
In this role you will be responsible for leading a pilot project as part of a performance improvement program (high management attention) within the client's business area Private & Wealth Management. The pilot project consists of various phases, your overall accountabilities include the following tasks:
- Coordination of the project delivery to ensure that requirements are addressed
- Provide business analysis support and coordinate project delivery to ensure that the needs of demanding business stakeholders are covered
- Working independently, managing a small team, under the guidance of program management
- Working jointly with business organizations to implement an effective solutions
- Defining the scope of a projects, own and manage project goals, risks, issues and resources
- Delivering large projects and programs in line with plan and budget
- Ensuring that change is managed in a holistic fashion aligned to strategic priorities and business plans
- Developing Senior Management presentations and updates
-Managing stakeholders at all levels across the organization to ensure business requirements are clearly evaluated, defined, documented and met
- Utilizing strong interpersonal skills to provide direction, maximize resources, prioritize activities, balance conflicting demands and motivate others
- Identifying and tracking progress of project risks issues and dependencies, escalating them appropriately with suggested mitigating actions; managing risks, issues & dependencies to successful resolution
- Ensuring programs meet internal and external client requirements
- Maximizing the client experience and minimizing risk and cost of change
To fulfill these tasks you meet the following requirements:
- University degree or equivalent
- Excellent project management skills, with experience in the financial services environment
- Proven track record / project history with implementing new initiatives and/or change projects
- Excellent English and German skills
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills with proven ability to analyze and evaluate quantitative and qualitative results
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at different hierarchy levels
- Leadership skills and ability to support and lead people through change
- Structuring and story-lining skills
- Ability to create strong working relationships across the Bank at all levels, and provide comprehensive support to the business
- MS-Office knowledge (PowerPoint and Excel)
- Ability to understand, synthesize and act on complex ideas/information
