For a project at our client, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for anAccountant with IT Skills (2933)
In this position you are responsible for the financial and management accounting (Balance Sheet and Revenue Control) for all divisions and you ensure complete, correct and auditable reporting for all external regulatory and statutory bodies as well as for internal partners. For this matter we are looking for an experienced accountant with IT skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the complete, accurate and auditable accounting and closing
- Month-end close analytical review and balance sheet substantiation
- Collaboration and support for closing and daily business
- Plausibility checks, daily and monthly analysis and reconciliations, reviews and detailed variance analysis and commentary
- Creating of business specifications for the implementation of new requirements (regulatory requirements or new products)
Job Qualifications
- Experience in financial accounting and reporting, ideally within a bank
- Excellent MS Excel and MS Access skills, SQL knowledge is an advantage
- Team player, communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Fluent in German (verbal and written) and English
- Ability to work independently
