SAP senior project manager / Switzerland / May 2015 / +8 MonthsFor our end-client in Switzerland, we are looking for a senior SAP Project manager, starting in May 2015.
You will see the full project cycle through from start to finish, working on projects in a range of different specialisms. This will involve building project plans, ensuring that permission is obtained to proceed through a stage gate, compiling project briefs and initiation documents, and presenting business cases where necessary.
Must haves:
- SAP project management experience of large project/programme
- Ability to demonstrate SAP functional experience
- Experience in working in an Agile environment
- Previous experience of SAP end to end implementations
- Financial budget management experience of budgets €10m+
- SAP change control knowledge and experience
- Project status reporting
- Management of internal and external resources (consultants / contractors, 3rd parties etc) with resources both on shore and off shore
- Understanding of SAP landscapes and complexity of deploying new or changing existing systems
- Ability to engage in discussions with multiple technical resources for detailed planning / problem resolution
- Ability to explain technical SAP issues to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in communicating with project & programme managers, 3rd party hosting providers, SAP Basis Resources, SAP Functional consultants and Developers.
- Project management and stakeholder management skills
- Building block knowledge of SAP systems
- Current Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent certification
- Excellent communication skills with ability to lead, challenge and influence
