For our client, an international bank with a global reach, Swisslinx are looking for a highly motivated German speaking Project Manager with a strong track record in the banking industry to implement changes for a securities project in Zurich.
This is a 9 month contract in Zurich starting in May 2015.
Project Manager/Management Consultant, German and English, Banking (Contract, Zurich)
- A responsible position in a program delivery environment with a broad scope of challenging bank-wide and global projects, from initial concept to implementation
- Opportunity to lead the analysis, problem solving and implementation activities of business and IT projects with priority on, regulatory compliance, organizational optimization, and efficiency improvements
- Cross-divisional projects (from front business to shared services incl. IT) on Senior Management level
- Broad insight into the global banking business of Credit Suisse
- Highly motivated and experienced team with an excellent reputation in a challenging working environment
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Experience as a project manager in the banking sector or as a management consultant (7+ years)
- Outstanding analytical/numerical skills, creativity and persistency
- Broad Project Management know-how (eg, in areas like regulatory compliance, operational excellence/six sigma, post-merger integration, chang management, organizational design, business strategy) with relevant professional experience of 5-10 years in a comparable position within the management consulting or financial services industry
- Banking and economic business know-how; familiarity with banking operations and IT-related themes an advantage
- Knowledge of securities processes advantageous
- Fluent in English and German
- Open minded and delivery focused
- Strong communication skills
