Description:
The Kaiseraugst Site IT Team is supporting the local Basel Site functions, such as Logistics, Security, Engineering, Travel Services and other. We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to back-fill an internal position for 6 month and takes over a variety of ongoing projects in different stages.
The BA is a business facing role that oversees and performs all analytical and conceptual activities to an accounted solution portfolio against internal business customers. The prime focus is to make sure that a business requirements are understood, translated into user requirements and that a chosen solution fits into the company IT landscape.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Capture the initial business demand in a structured way, ensure it is aligned with business strategy
- High level scoping and assessment of automation potential
- Understanding and analysing user requirements using different tools and techniques
- Assist with conducting UATs
Must Haves:
- +8 years of experience as Business Analyst (IT projects)
- Technical background/know-how to understand business needs (must be visible in project experiences)
- Able to speak business language and translate this into user requirements (must be visible in project experiences)
- Ability to analyse and assess the business need and business process (must be visible in project experiences)
- Experience in moderating workshops (must be visible in project experiences)
- Excellent documentation skills (must be visible in project experiences)
- Good English skills (verbal and written)
- Fluent German (as business side is German speaking)
- Ability to drive outcome
- Great communication skills and self-driven personality
- Accountable, structured and proactive
Nice to Haves:
- BA certification
- Project Management experience
