On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a Solution Architect with extensive experience in designing and developing SOA-based solutions. Are you a passionate for a Solution Architect who is looking for a new and exciting challenge?

Main responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations of products and solutions, make rational design decisions from business and technical perspectives, and communicate recommendations
- Participate in the strategic analysis, planning, and execution of IT-enabled business solutions
- Lead the execution of duties and participate in an effort to capture and validate an as-is view of capabilities and defined functional baseline
- Establish a strategic technology roadmap based on mission needs, evolve to-be architecture to meet needs, and review, interpret, and provide input to operational architecture views
- Identify critical mission gaps, redundancies, and dependencies aligned with component impacts or costs
The skills and experience needed for these positions are:
- Over 10 years of experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development using various development languages
- Extensive experience and sound knowledge of providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development and frameworks
- Fluent understanding of analysing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients
- Good experience with driving technical planning and solutions for small software portfolio, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations
- Experience with injecting new technology into enterprise systems
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English

- Experience with maintaining and improving Legacy systems with complex dependencies
