Avaloq Developer - Static Data
Department
Application Management, IT Static Data & Application Security
Role Purpose
The role is responsible for delivering the necessary Avaloq changes in the areas of static data, object modelling and data correction for an internal project.
Key Accountabilities
- Business analysis, specification and implementation of requirements in the Core Banking System Avaloq
- Propose technical data model solutions to business challenges
- Provide in-depth technical delivery to static data model harmonisation and enrichment activities
- Executing quality assurance processes
- Provide solutions to "mass enrich" data deficiencies
- Testing activities during release cycles
Skills
- Avaloq certification
- University degree or equivalent, preferably in a Computer Science field
- Superb data analysis skills, proven to lead to cost effective, sustainable solutions
- Strong parametrisation know-how of Avaloq
- In-depth knowledge of the Avaloq object model including Person model 2
- Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Avaloq Script
- Experience with the Avaloq migration framework (preferred)
- English written and spoken
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year developing Ava
- loq static data (preferably 3)
- A good knowledge of the Private Banking industry, especially as applied to the UK regulatory regime
- Appreciation of data models as applied to enterprise banking and CRM applications, in particular Avaloq
- Experience in business analysis, consulting
- Experience in IT projects (preferred)
- Experience in working in an international team with native and non-native English speakers
