For our pharma client wer are looking for an Virtual Events Architect 50%.
Our client is developing an IT solution to hold events and meetings virtually. The virtual events project enters phase 2 of development as they seek to integrate Q&A polling, live chat and video streaming into a hub where event attendees may interact in Real Time, online. the client aims to increase the number of people who may participate in global events while reducing travel costs and expenses. The contractor would identify the technologies to integrate the new functionalities.
The candidate will work with the Global Product Strategy IT business partner and project manager to understand their virtual meeting processes and virtual events information needs and to work with other members of our Informatics team to identify and design webinar, webconferencing and collaboration solution options. The Architect works toward consistency within and across groups and drives for enterprise IT reuse of IT solutions such as Kaltura, Adobe and Q&A polling tools. The Architect drives the implementation and provides technical and business leadership where needed to deliver the virtual events IT solution.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Responsible to work with GPS, our business partner, to understand their event and meeting information needs.
- Works with our GPS IT team to identify solution options that support the business' needs.
- Seeks to reuse enterprise IT solutions or identify and assess new virtual event technologies.
- Specifies the solution architecture to enhance the virtual events Hub.
- Provides technical leadership to help build the IT system.
Must Haves:
- 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect in the Web-Conferencing space
- Experience in architected virtual event technologies to improve communications
- Included expertise with Kaltura, Adobe or similar Web-Conferencing and video streaming services
- Fluent English speaking
